We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to request a refund for your course. Please review our refund policy below:
- Course Cancellations by Flash Fiction Institute
If the Flash Fiction Institute cancels a course for any reason, you will receive a full refund of the course fee. This refund will be processed automatically to the original payment method used at registration. - Student-Initiated Refunds
Refund requests initiated by students are subject to the following conditions:
- For Live Online Courses (Real-Time Instruction)
- Refund requests submitted 10 days or more before the course start date: You are eligible for a full refund.
- Refund requests submitted less than 10 days but more than 5 days before the course start date: You are eligible for a 70% refund.
- Refund requests submitted 5 days or fewer before the course start date: No refunds will be issued.
- For Self-Paced/On-Demand Courses
- Once you have accessed any part of the course material, no refunds will be provided.
- If you have not accessed the course and submit a refund request within 30 days of your purchase, you are eligible for a full refund.
- Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests due to exceptional circumstances (medical or family-related emergency) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. - Refund Processing Time
Refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days after your request has been approved. The funds will be returned to the original payment method used during registration.
